A project in west Africa aims to help reunite children living on city streets with their families, often based in other countries. The Project to Protect Child Victims of Rights Violations (PAPEV) operates in six countries and is a joint partnership between UN Human Rights West Africa Regional Office and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation.

Guinea-Bissau has completed its first Voluntary National Review of achievements of the Sustainable Development Goals. To do this, the country enlisted the support of the UN system, under the aegis of the UN Resident Coordinator, including the UN Human Rights Surge Initiative, and the UN Resident Coordinator.

The third edition of the Hernán Santa Cruz Dialogue looked at the contribution of development to human rights in Guinea. Like many countries across the globe, Guinea has enshrined the right to a healthy environment in its Constitution.
