A UN Human Rights e-learning course on the right to development inspires young people to improve their participation in local decision-making.

During the recent legislative elections in Senegal, human rights defenders, as well as members of civil society groups worked tirelessly to ensure free, fair, and transparent elections. Voting took place without incident, with a turnout of more than 46 percent of the population.
